Michigan State University Pavillion ~ East Lansing,
Colt Challenge Dates: March 7, 8, 9, 2014
We will only have 5 colts this year!
This marks the 10th year of the "Colt Challenge" and we are excited to announce many new changes for this year. In order to showcase all of the trainer's talents and meet the requests of our loyal followers we will be showcasing 3 year olds this year. With these changes come many new opportunities for the trainers and potential owners. These colts will be bigger, stronger, and able to be taken to the next level allowing trainers to showcase their skills and able to tap into the colt's full potential. In order to give the trainer's adequate time to work with each of these colts they will only be working one colt this year.
There will be a grand finale on Saturday night showcasing each of these colts but there will not be an auction as there has been in years past. These colts will be for sale and we welcome you to come visit the Cross Winds Ranch booth or contact Marc or Christy Huver @ 517-819-7246 or 517-819-5603 to learn more about these colts, their pedigrees, see them up close, and meet with the trainers who are working with them.
We look forward to seeing you all in March!
There will be not entry fees this year. Each trainer will receive $500 for taking part in our event and the winning trainer will receive an additional $500. PLUS THE TRAINER OF THE TOP SELLING COLT GETS 10% OF SELLING PRICE (if 2 colts bring the same amount we will pay the trainer that has the highest cumulative score of the two or you will have the option to split between the two of you).
All five trainers will be judged by a panel of 3 to 5 judges throughout the course of the weekend, including the preview on Saturday.
